Tru Temp® XL Blackener

Trutemp® XL Blackener - Blackening on steel low temperature.
Application:

• Tru Temp® XL Blackener is a low-temperature oxidation blackening process for steel substrates that gives metal surfaces a stable black iron oxide layer.
• Tru Temp® XL Blackener can be applied to common steels, cast irons and powdered metals. Because this process operates at an average temperature of 90oC, it does not pose the same dangers as the traditional process, which operates at 135oC.
• Tru Temp® XL Blackener is used in semi-automatic manual workshops as well as in closed automatic plating lines.

• Tru Temp® XL Blackener produces a uniform black film with high adhesion and good corrosion resistance.
• Tru Temp® XL Blackener has a low new phase content that saves costs.
• The Tru Temp® XL Blackener used consists of two chemical reaction steps, starting with the precipitation of the OXYPRIME layer, which is a base layer that promotes rapid oxide formation and uniformity. When coated with a sealer, the oxide layer produced by the Tru Temp® XL process offers high corrosion resistance with a moderate gloss.
• Tru Temp® XL Blackener has a wide working range so it is easy to use.
• Environmentally friendly, no chromium, cyanide should reduce the cost of wastewater treatment.
• Chemicals that meet RoSH standards are eligible for products to be exported to fastidious markets such as the US, Japan, and the EU.
