TROUBLE SHOOTING IN NICKEL PLATING

Lack of bright

Low brightener additives

Add   0.1ml/l KM NEW SHINE NICKEL BRIGHTENER additive

Low current density

Increase 0.5 A/dm2  and check

pH low

Adjust pH to about 4.2-4.6 optimal 4.4

Pollution of organic impurities

Use activated carbon filter

The areas of low current density are black or gray

Contaminated with copper, zinc and iron

Use iron reducing agent NP 1090 4-8 ml / l

Use copper and zinc reducing contaminants NP 1099 0.1-1ml / l.

Run dummy with low current density of

0.2-0.5 A / dm2

The coating is rough

The solution is dirty

Run the circulating filter

The anode bag (terminal bag) is punctured or the solution level is higher than the top of the bag.

If punctured, replace the bag.

If the liquid level is higher than the top of the bag, pull the top of the bag high above the solution level.

Tank have precipitated CaSO4

Increase the temperature to above 65 ° C and filter

Inefficient filtration system
